Apart from Kashmir and the Nilgiris, Munnar is the only other place in India, offering one the thrills of Trout fishing in pristine streams. Stocking of the waters is undertaken at regular intervals. Smoked trout is considered a delicacy. Wildlife sightings are quite common in this area.
